What Carteck Actually Makes
The GSW40 sectional door is designed with a steel frame and is 40 mm thick with double steel skin and polyurethane foam that is injected during the manufacturing process. Because of this process and the foam bonding to the steel, the door maintains its shape and integrity. Unlike other insulation panels that use polystyrene and can compress, separate, or degrade over time, the GSW40 sectional door does not.
There are several panel design options, including contemporary, ribbed, and Georgian styles. Unique colors are available, including some rare color options. Window options also vary in both position and size. Doors can also be quite large, as the XL and SuperSize versions have hardware and springs upgraded to support the additional weight.
All of the sectional doors are available, as well as insulated side-hinged doors that are made of the same 40mm double-skinned panels. The side-hinged panels use an aluminum frame and hinges that support the panel and ensures that it won’t sag over time.
